About the Owner and Clinical Director
Hi, I'm Tatyana and I'm so glad you're here.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor with more than 15 years of clinical experience serving children, teens, adults, couples, and families in a range of settings. My background includes county behavioral health, school-based mental health, inpatient and outpatient treatment, foster care and adoption services, and community-based child and family work. I have supported clients facing early psychosis, severe mental health concerns, trauma, crisis situations, family conflict, and adjustment challenges. My clinical style is grounded in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, case management, and psychotherapy. I provide individual, conjoint, marital, family, and group therapy, and I draw from trauma-informed approaches and training including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ASIST, domestic violence advocacy, sexual assault training, and SAFE. Bilingual in English and Russian, I value meeting people where they are and building a space that feels calm, respectful, and practical. A session with me is typically collaborative and goal-focused, with clear support and next steps. When appropriate, I also provide structured homework and between-session tools to help clients keep making progress outside of therapy.
Get in touchMy story
I've always been drawn to the quiet courage it takes to ask for help. Growing up, I saw how much pain people carried silently and how transformative it could be when someone simply listened without judgment. That calling led me to pursue a career in counseling.
After earning my Master's in Counseling Psychology, I worked in community mental health, private practice, and crisis intervention gaining a deep appreciation for the full spectrum of human experience. I founded Healing Begins Now to create a practice that felt different: warm, accessible, and genuinely client-centered.
Today, I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I use an integrative approach drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and attachment theory tailored to what works best for you.
